Recognize and Admit that you are a sinner
* "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." (Rom. 3:23)
* "There is not a just man upon earth that doeth good and sinneth not." (Eccl. 7:20)
Repent
* Repent means to be genuinely sorry for your sins
* Confess to God that you have broken His laws
* It is a change of your mind in regard to sin and God
* Jesus said, "Except you repent you will ... perish." (Luke 13:3b)
Receive Christ as your Savior
* We receive Christ by faith. "For by grace are you saved through faith." (Ep. 2:8)
* Salvation is an act of the will. "As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God." (John 1:12)
* You now have eternal life.
