Pastor Dale and his wife Jane love to see people come to know Christ and to grow in their faith.  Pastor Dale was called into the ministry after serving in the US Army for six years and working in the business world for 10 years.   While working and pursuing the American Dream God called Pastor Dale into full-time ministry.

After graduating from Southeastern Seminary Pastor Dale & Jane served six years at First Baptist Church in Waynesburg, PA and then seven years at First Baptist Church in Bishopville, SC before answering God's call to First Baptist Church of Johns Island. 

Pastor Dale has a Bachelors of Science from the University of Maryland (Graduated Magna Cum Laude), Masters of Science from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Master of Divinity and Christian Education from Southeastern Seminary.

Our dream is to see God do a mighty work on Johns Island and be a part of a spiritual renewal in our community.

Hello guys & gals I would like to tell you just how excited I am to be here in Johns Island.  I am very passionate about sharing with you just how awesome Jesus Christ is.  They took a poll among school age children on who the most famous person of all time is and Jesus Christ got less than 1 percent of the vote.  I find that truly disturbing and feel that this needs to change.  In closing I look forward to working with you all in  truly making the name of Christ famous!!!
